On World Peace
​Let us begin right now—we the world's people—to pay our debt to the dead.

Pick your country and if it isn't China, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Nigeria or the United States, World War I would have killed, wounded or maimed every person within the population. In most cases it would have destroyed even today's nations in multiples of fives or tens.
On "The Cost of War"
In the United States, more than 1 of every 2 citizens would be dead, wounded or missing. Is it any wonder why Tom Watson worked so hard for peace?
Watson Sr.'s favorite phrase when talking about education was, "There is no saturation point in education." He exemplified this for most of his life as he practiced the continual study of business, science, and the arts.

Tom Watson Sr. was outspoken on the hidden value of the human mind.
The book "Thomas Jefferson: Then and Now 1743-1943" was published during World War II. It was a collection of short articles by men and women of the day in honor of Mr. Jefferson.

Tom Watson Sr. possessed honorable beliefs, deep convictions, and a desire to speak to a man’s heart and some believe that he lacked an orator's elegance; but Watson Sr. performed off-stage, and his actions more than his words changed opinions to produce unshakeable loyalty.
